Airport Guide

What Makes O'Hare Airport Limo Service Different

Four active terminals, and they're not close. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 sit together in the core and you can walk between them. Terminal 5 is off on its own — international arrivals, shuttle ride away from everything else. Guess wrong on a departure and there goes fifteen minutes you wanted for security.

Then there's the drive. Downtown to ORD is anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes, and that spread is real, not padding. The Kennedy doubles on you midweek without warning. Express lanes help only if they happen to be running your way.

International arrivals add one more layer. Customs at Terminal 5 depends heavily on the hour and how many widebodies landed at once. Which is exactly why wait time on your booking matters more here than at a domestic-only airport.

Flying the other one? See our Midway airport limo service. Two people, normal bags, no group to move? Our black car service does the same route in a sedan for less.

My 16 year old daughter and classmates visited Chicago for the day on a field trip. I wanted to ensure her safety during free time so I sought out a black car service to take them to various shopping locations. I read several reviews before booking with ChiTown. I was hoping they’d get Moiz as I’d seen so many positive comments online. Luckily, they did. My daughter was unsure what to expect - but she loved him! She said he was so kind, it sounded like they had nice, lighthearted conversation. I found the cost to be less than I expected and the experience to be better than expected. I can’t say enough good things about Moiz and ChiTown! I texted him to thank him once I knew they’d been safely picked up and he responded right away. It was hard to imagine my lovely, petite daughter riding the Red Line to shops. I hoped this would be a good, safe alternative and it exceeded all of my expectations! Thank you so much ChiTown!!!!!

How O'Hare Airport Limo Service Works

Three things at booking. Flight number, passenger count, terminal. The rest is on us.

Departures get built backwards from the flight. Two hours for domestic, three for international, then the drive. That last piece catches people out constantly — a four o’clock run from the Loop on the Kennedy is a completely different trip than the same run at ten in the morning, and no map warns you until you’re sitting in it.

Arrivals run on live tracking. Land early, the chauffeur is already inside. Circle over Indiana for forty minutes, nothing changes. The time we work off is wheels-down, not the estimate you gave us three weeks ago.

Meeting You Inside the Terminal

Curbside at O’Hare is chaos on a good day. So curbside isn’t our default.

The chauffeur waits at baggage claim with a name sign, takes the bags, walks you out. Terminal 5 means meeting you past customs in the international arrivals hall. Domestic terminals, it’s the lower level at your carousel.

Carry-on only and you’d rather just meet at the curb? Some travellers do prefer that. Tell us at booking and we’ll set it up. More on how the drivers work over on our luxury chauffeur service page.

What Every O'Hare Transfer Includes

Flat rate quoted before booking. Tolls, parking, airport fees — all inside that number. Nothing added later. No Sunday evening surge.

60 minutes of free wait. First hour after landing is included. Covers baggage claim, and covers most of what customs throws at an international arrival.

Room for the luggage. A stretch limo or Sprinter takes ski bags, golf clubs and eight suitcases. Nobody rides with something on their lap.

Chauffeurs who actually know ORD. Which terminal has which arrivals hall. Where a limousine can legally sit at each one. Which access road is worth taking when the main one backs up.

Areas We Cover for O'Hare Pickups

O’Hare sits northwest, and that shapes who it’s convenient for. Downtown, River North, Lincoln Park and the North Side all come in on the Kennedy. Northwest suburbs — Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Park Ridge — are close enough that the drive is short, at least until the morning peak undoes it.

Western suburbs run in on I-294. Naperville, Oak Brook, , Elmhurst. All straightforward, but add 30 to 45 minutes on a weekday morning. The Tri-State starts backing up before six and doesn’t loosen until after nine.

South Side and southwest suburbs work too, and we run plenty of those. Worth knowing that Midway is usually the shorter trip from down there. Anyone weighing limo service Chicago options across the metro hits the same rule eventually — the cheaper airport is the one on your side of town.

Group and Family Travel Through ORD

O’Hare’s size is precisely why groups struggle here. Split eight people across three cars and you get three pickup points, three arrival times, and somebody standing alone outside Terminal 3 texting the group chat.

One vehicle solves it. Car seats fitted before we arrive, provided you give us the ages at booking. Strollers and checked bags stay with the people they belong to. Everyone reaches the counter together, which matters when you’re checking in on one reservation.

Bigger groups go into a Sprinter van rental — 14 to 16 seats with room for the bags. Book both legs at once and it usually lands under two separate one-ways

Corporate Travel Through O'Hare

Business travel runs on connections that don’t wait, and O’Hare is where most Chicago firms make theirs.

We hold standing accounts for that exact pattern. Same three executives, every other Tuesday, a booking that shouldn’t need rebuilding each time. Client arrivals get met inside with a name sign — which matters a lot when the person landing has never been through O’Hare before. Conference groups moving between ORD and McCormick Place travel in Sprinters rather than a convoy of sedans that lose each other on the Kennedy. Roadshow days can be booked hourly so the car waits between meetings. One invoice, monthly.

What to Know Before Your O'Hare Pickup

Give the flight number, not the time. Times shift constantly. Flight numbers don’t, and the number is what we track.

Tell us the terminal for departures. It’s the most useful thing on the whole booking, and getting it wrong costs real minutes at a curb where you can’t linger.

Say if it’s an international arrival. Terminal 5 clears differently, and knowing beforehand means the chauffeur is in the right hall instead of a building over.

Book early for the peak weeks. Thanksgiving Wednesday, the Sunday after New Year’s, spring break Saturdays. Those three fill first. Two to three weeks out is comfortable. Day before is a gamble.

Check the toll route when you compare quotes. Suburban runs mostly take I-294. Our tolls are inside the flat rate — if someone quotes lower, ask whether theirs are.

Where does the chauffeur meet me at O'Hare?

At baggage claim with a sign showing your name. International arrivals into Terminal 5, that’s the arrivals hall past customs. Domestic terminals, lower level at your carousel. Prefer the curb instead? Tell us at booking.

24 to 48 hours ideally, further out for early morning departures and peak weekends. Same-day, call us and we’ll do what we can.

Somewhere between 20 and 45 minutes depending on the hour. The Kennedy decides it. Weekday afternoons sit at the top of that range, sometimes past it.

Nothing on your end. We track the flight number, the pickup moves with the aircraft, and the first 60 minutes after landing are free.

Yes. Give us the flight number and the chauffeur will be in the international arrivals hall. The free wait time is especially useful here, since customs clearance varies a lot by hour.

Yes. Sprinters seat 14 to 16 with room for eight large bags. Stretch limos and mini coaches handle 10 to 24. Give us the bag count at booking so we assign the right vehicle rather than a tight one
