Around 13 miles to the Loop. Off-peak, 25 to 35 minutes. Friday evening, longer.
The Purple Line and the Metra cover most of this well. Where they stop working is a show that runs past the last useful train, or eight people who want to travel together, or an evening that starts with dinner in Evanston and ends somewhere in River North.
Concerts most often. Groups going to United Center, Soldier Field or the smaller rooms tend to book through our concert limo service, where the post-show pickup point gets settled beforehand instead of in a crowd with no signal.
