Nights Downtown
Around 25 miles to the Loop. Off-peak, 35 to 45 minutes on I-290. Friday evening, longer.
No station in the village means driving is the default, which is exactly the problem on a night out. Somebody stays sober. Downtown parking eats a chunk of the budget. Then there’s the drive back afterwards.
Concerts most often.
